Trying to Survive

January 29, 2024 changed my life forever. I had just come home from working out and sat down to work at home, the dog came and got me and when I checked downstairs the love of my life was laying on the ground and in the pit of my stomach I knew he was not all right. I called 9-1-1 and began CPR til the EMS could arrive.

We had just started to be empty nesters and plan our future just me and him visiting our kids. We also were starting to remember what we used to do before kids, that we liked to spend time together.

He was my best friend, my high school sweetheart, the father of my children and my partner in crime.
